Introducing the Urban Cruiser Taisor: Toyota’s Latest Compact SUV for the Indian Market

Urban Cruiser Taisor

Toyota Motor is getting ready to launch its first car in India this year. It’s called the Urban Cruiser Taisor. This car is part of the compact SUV category. It’s based on a platform from Maruti Suzuki Fronx. People are excited to know how much it will cost, and bookings are expected to start soon.

Toyota has shown a sneak peek of the new car in a video. It seems like there will be some changes compared to the Maruti car it’s based on.

This is not the first time Toyota has done this. They’ve taken Maruti cars before and made them their own. For example, they turned the Baleno into the Glanza, the Brezza into the Urban Cruiser, and the Ertiga into the Rumion. But this time, they might be changing more things.

From what we can see in the video, the front of the Taisor will look different. The headlights and grille will be changed, and the Toyota logo will have more chrome around it. The back will have LED lights, new bumpers, and different wheels.

Inside the car, there might not be many changes except for the seats. It will probably have the same features like a big touchscreen, a display for the driver, a 360-degree camera, and a HUD.

Under the hood, it will likely have the same engines as the Fronx, including a hybrid option in the future. It might come with a manual or automatic gearbox.

When it’s out, the Taisor will compete with other small SUVs like the Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger. It’s expected to be priced higher than the Fronx, maybe around ₹35,000 more.

So, the Urban Cruiser Taisor is coming soon, and it’s going to offer some changes and compete in the busy SUV market in India.
