In short, ED summoned Ranbir Kapoor as he took a lot of cash renumeration for attending or performing in the wedding. And as the money is obtained by criminal methods Ranbir Kapoor is being held liable. ED probably wants to know the source of the money received.
Initially, everyone thought that Ranbir Kapoor is guilty of betting in the app and that is the reason ED has summoned him. But after the ED official spoke to a news channel that the reason was because the large sums of money accepted by the celebrities. Now Ranbir has to appear in front of officials for questioning on 6th October.

Other celebrities in question are Tiger Shroff, Sunny Leone, Neha Kakkar, Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Asgar, Vishal Dadlani, Elli AvrRam, Bharti Singh, Kriti Kharbanda, Bhagyashree, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Krushna Abhishek and Sukhwinder Singh. Above mentioned celebrities can be seen in the wedding video. Hence, all are being held accountable. In short these celebrities took money from the Mahadev Book app for attending or performing in the wedding and now being held liable for that.
