About the movie - Yodha gets 7.1 IMDB rating
Do you remember all those movies about patriotism and love for the country’s flag? It feels like we’ve seen a lot of them, especially the ones where a brave Indian soldier fights against Pakistani villains. Maybe it’s time to let go of those old clichés. But what if Amazon Prime Video and Dharma Productions give us something new and exciting?
In this movie Yodha, Ronit Roy plays Major Surender Katyal. He teaches his son to honor the uniform of a soldier. The son, Arun Katyal (played by Sidharth Malhotra), grows up to be a strong and handsome man, following in his father’s footsteps and joining the Yodha Task Force.
Arun’s job is to protect an Indian scientist who works with atomic energy. When there’s an attempt to hijack their mission, Arun tries to stop it but fails. He gets caught up in investigations and disappears from sight. Later, he becomes a flight security officer and faces another hijack situation. This time, it seems like he might be the hijacker himself. But is he really? Is his love for his country still strong?
Finally, i would say that Yodha has its own share of embarrassing moments and comical action.
